organic sequences

City functions as a flexible and adaptive form of an organism alongside accumulating changes through time as vertical sequences (elevational sequences).
Regardless of being designed and modified based on the influence of economic/politics forces, cities have been planned as living machines, which in most of the cases capable of handling their own growth without collapsing or losing their identities. This has effected the metropolitan in and through which processes of urban growth taking place not
always in a sustainable and balanced methodology. Nevertheless, cities are not only the juxtaposition of the built and the livings (static and dynamic) but also a proactive and engaging aggregation of the two, in several articulated models that are often difficult to be clearly identified .
